Bicycle Master Plan
San Dimas Citywide Bicycle Master Plan 2025 Update
The San Dimas City Council adopted the Citywide Bicycle Master Plan 2025 Update on August 12, 2025 (Resolution 2025-44). This plan builds upon the City’s 2011 Bicycle Master Plan and responds to changing travel patterns, new safety standards, and community priorities.
The updated plan provides a comprehensive strategy to expand and improve bicycle infrastructure throughout San Dimas. It identifies existing bikeways and network gaps, evaluates safety data, and incorporates extensive community input gathered through surveys, workshops, and outreach events.
Key elements of the plan include:
- A prioritized network of Class I shared-use paths, Class II bike lanes, Class III routes, and bicycle boulevards.
- Short, medium, and long-term project recommendations to improve connectivity across the City, including links to the upcoming San Dimas Metro A Line station and Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park.
- Goals and policies focused on expanding safe, convenient, and accessible bicycle facilities, supported by education and safety programs.
The Bicycle Master Plan Update provides a framework to guide future investments, secure grant funding, and enhance mobility options for residents, ensuring bicycling in San Dimas is safe, convenient, and connected. Please click the link below to access the full San Dimas Bicycle Master Plan.
