Pet License Canvassing

In California, all dogs and in some cities, cats, over 4 months old must be vaccinated
against rabies and have a current license. The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. partners with the City of San Dimas to oversee this program, which not only ensures compliance with the law but also helps reunite lost pets with their owners and enhances community safety especially considering that less than 1% of animals entering shelters have identification. Beginning this month, IVHS & SPCA will conduct a door-to-door canvass to ensure all pets are properly registered, with representatives available to provide information about the licensing process and answer any questions.
