Metro A-Line Arrives in San Dimas

The Metro A-Line extension officially opens Friday, September 19, 2025, at noon, adding four new stations in Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, and Pomona.

With more riders expected, Metro is highlighting safety precautions, incident reporting tools, and parking options available at the new stations.

Safety Precautions

  • Stations feature upgraded lighting, open sight lines and public announcement systems.

  • Metro’s “Safety Begins with You” campaign reminds riders to stay behind yellow lines, be alert at crossings, and follow posted signage.

  • Ambassadors and security staff are available at stations to assist riders.

How to Report an Incident

  • Transit Watch App: Submit photos, videos, or descriptions directly to Metro staff.

  • Text Message: Send concerns to 213-788-2777.

  • Hotline: Call 1-888-950-SAFE (7233) for safety issues.

  • Metro Staff: Report directly to Metro employees or ambassadors on site.

For emergencies, always call 911 first.

Parking Information

Parking is available at all new A-Line stations, offering convenient access for riders from surrounding communities. Spaces are first-come, first-served, with a daily rate of $3 under Metro’s standard parking policies.

Note: Parking will be free at the four new stations Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-21.
