Eaton Fire & Red Flag Warning Update

City staff is actively monitoring the Eaton Fire in Altadena and worked diligently throughout the night to respond to incidents and clear roadways of debris. Severe weather and windstorm damage have caused widespread power outages, and restoration timelines remain uncertain.

Traffic Safety Alert:
There are currently five traffic signals throughout the City without power. Please reduce your speed and approach intersections with caution. Treat all intersections with non-functioning signals as a four-way stop. Be sure to yield the right of way to the first vehicle to arrive, or to the vehicle on your right if you arrive simultaneously.

Facility and Park Updates:

- Horsethief Canyon Park is closed.
- Staff will be working over the next several days to clear debris from all City parks and trails.
- Recreation Center pools are closed until further notice.

Trash services may be delayed due to high winds.
