CITY OF SAN DIMAS ADDRESSES RECENT INCIDENT ON HAWKBROOK DRIVE

San Dimas, CA —
On November 28, 2023 at around 6:48pm, San Dimas Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Hawkbrook Drive regarding shots fired. Upon arrival, law enforcement located a victim who was declared dead at the scene.

The City of San Dimas is saddened by this rare and tragic incident that occurred on Hawkbrook Drive involving a homicide. The San Dimas Sheriff’s Station is actively investigating, and the City is collaborating with law enforcement officials to ensure a thorough investigation.

The City’s primary focus is providing safety for our community. Patrols in the area have been increased and support and resources are being offered to those directly affected. We understand the concerns and questions that arise from such an incident and wish to assure our residents that the safety and well-being of our community remains our top priority.

This tragedy touches us all, and the City is committed to supporting those affected during this difficult time.  “My heart goes out to the family on this tremendous loss.  This is a priority investigation and I have faith in our Sheriff’s Office to properly investigate and bring this suspect to justice,” says Mayor Emmett Badar.
