Website Accessibility

The City of San Dimas has developed an accessible website design with Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) in mind. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The importance and expansion of government services online has lead to website improvements that ensure ease of use to the largest possible audience. With accessibility as an objective we will continue improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant ADA standards.

Website Accessibility Menu
As an effort towards being more user friendly, an accessibility menu can be enabled on any page. The green icon at the bottom left corner of every screen will bring up different options to improve website readability. Adjustments can be made to website contrast, highlighting links, changing text size, text spacing, and many more options.
