Metro Rider Discount Programs
The City of San Dimas would like to share information on two Metro programs that help make transit more affordable for eligible riders.
Seniors 62+ Reduced Fare Program
Metro offers discounted fares for riders age sixty two and older.

*Off-Peak rates apply weekdays 9am – 3pm & 7pm – 5am; weekends & Federal holidays.
Eligible seniors can receive reduced pricing on all Metro bus and rail services by applying for a Senior TAP Card. More information is available on the Metro website at: https://www.metro.net/riding/fares/seniors/

Low Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) Program
The LIFE program provides additional fare support for income-eligible riders across Los Angeles County. Eligible residents can receive 20 free rides every month on Metro or a discounted pass on another participating transit agency, such as Foothill Transit: https://www.metro.net/riding/fares/life/

Residents who qualify are encouraged to take advantage of these programs to reduce daily transportation costs.
