Housing Programs

The Community Development Department has a variety of grant  and loan programs available for very low to low income residents. Residents can come to City Hall and fill out a waitlist form, or download the waitlists below and submit them at City Hall to be considered for a grant. Priority is given to first time applicants. The programs do not permit improvements for aesthetic purposes or home improvement repairs prior to an immediate resale of the property. Applicants will be required to sign a waiver ensuring that they will continue to reside in the subject property after the rehabilitation work is completed for a minimum period of twelve (12) months from the “sign off” or completion of work date, or risk paying back the grant funds.
