Since its incorporation in 1960, the unprecedented growth of San Dimas has transformed the City from an essentially rural area to a well-balanced community offering industrial, commercial, and residential living. In addition to the 1,700 acre Frank G. Bonelli Recreational Area which lies within the City boundaries, there are many parks such as San Dimas Canyon Park, a city-owned golf course (San Dimas Canyon Golf Club), and over 27 miles of equestrian trails for riding. The city services include an extensive recreational program for youth and for senior citizens, and the City boasts a new modern City Hall, with excellent provisions made for County Sheriff and Fire Departments, along with a fine Los Angeles County Library and Engineering Regional Office.

The Los Angeles County Register Recorder’s Office manages all elections including city elections consolidated with the county. If you have not received your Vote by Mail Ballot, would like to become a Permanent Vote by Mail voter or have questions please contact the Register Recorder’s Office at 1-800-815-2666 Option #2.
The County of Los Angeles has added a new feature for voters to track their ballot. If you would like to track where your ballot is in the process please go to https://california.ballottrax.net/voter/.
You can register by contacting the City Clerk’s Office (909) 394-6210 or the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s Office at 1-800-815-2666 Option #2 or online at www.lavote.net . The following information is needed to register:
- Your California Driver License or California Identification Card Number
- The last four of your social security number
- Your date of birth
Checking your Registration Status before Election Day can make your voting experience more efficient. If you have recently moved and are still in Los Angeles County make sure you register with your current address. If you cannot register before the deadline, you may vote provisionally at a Vote Center.
