Election Information

In 2021, the San Dimas City Council elections transitioned from at-large voting to district-based voting. The City has divided into four districts and only the voters in a district decide who will represent that district. Voters will elect Councilmembers to represent Districts 2 and 4 during the June 7, 2022, General Municipal Election. Voters will also elect a Mayor who will be elected at-large. Currently, Councilmembers receive a salary of $7,440.00 annually. The Mayor receives a salary of $9,960.00 annually.

Election Sequence:

  • District 2 & 4- June 7, 2022 and every four years thereafter
  • Districts 1 & 3 - 2024 General Election and every four years thereafter
